With WAVEPACE® we have established the first group-wide series of passive FTTH products for whose distribution group members act as equal partners. The aim of WAVEPACE® is to offer cost-optimized products and systems that not only serve current market requirements, but also think one step ahead. Thanks to pre-installed solutions, you can, for example, carry out parts of the installation with semi-skilled workers, and hard-to-find, well-trained fibre optic installers only need to be deployed for final connection work.

Trends towards decentralised access technologies as well as the requirement to install an FTTH solution even in sparsely populated areas require the increased use of active technologies.

With optical transmitters, amplifiers (EDFAs), receivers, switches and EPON OLTs of the brands braun teleCom and DKT Comega, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of systems for almost every performance range. In particular, our Hardened EDFAs set standards for use in narrow street cabinets and under demanding environmental conditions due to their very low installation depth and a greatly extended temperature range.

Designed as a 2-box solution, DKT’s FTU and gateway combination focuses on durability, neutral design and reducing your OPEX. Due to the interoperability of the 1G and 10G gateways with standard OLTs and routers, you retain maximum flexibility in your FTTH network.

Additional options such as the integration of reflectors and battery backups also increase the intelligence of your network through the use of centralised PON testing or functionality even during power outages.

The increasing shortage of skilled workers requires a rethink in FTTH expansion. We have made it our task to design our solutions in such a way that as many steps as possible of the fiber-optic installation can be carried out by semi-skilled workers or even the end customer himself.

With a focus on interoperability, durability and reliability, DKT’s “Extallation” solution is an innovation in FTTH installation. Pre-assembled systems make splicing in the end customer’s premises obsolete, shorten the installation time and significantly simplify the whole expansion process.

From one to four ports, as SAT or multimedia version – you will surely find the right product for every HFC expansion scenario. A high degree of flexibility is offered by modular solutions like “Push-In Outlets” and the “Click & Go” series, which allow a resource-saving upgrade to DOCSIS 3.1 or hybrid solutions of fiber-optic and coaxial outlets.

In addition, specially designed push-on adapters enable flexible expansion of the connections of existing antenna outlets.
